FlexStaff is hiring Nurse Manager - Behavioral Health for our client located in Brooklyn. MUST HAVE!! Experiencing managing a psych unit in a hospital Location: Onsite in Brooklyn NY: Salary 145k-160k: Hours: 8am-4pm: Key Responsibilities: *Previous experience working with children aged six (6) weeks to six (6) years of age (paid or unpaid). Responsible for operations and management of the unit in collaboration with the Director. Oversee patient care area to ensure clinical needs and competencies are met. Establish and maintain positive relationships with patients, visitors, and other employees. Ability to interact professionally, courteously, and appropriately with patients, visitors, and other employees. Responsible for the implementation of hospital policies and procedures, as well as regulatory agencies’ codes and regulations as they pertain to the Department. Assemble and prepare data relative to clinical activities as well as other statistical and special reports required by the NY State Office of Mental Health (OMH), the NY Department of Health (KOH), the NY City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DOHMH), and the Administration for Children’s Services (ACS).
