Maintenance Technician - Fabrication

Job description

JAC Products is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team in Saline, MI on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift. As a Maintenance Technician you will be responsible for the performance and maintenance of equipment in our manufacturing facility. Y our Contributions: - Responsible for maintaining, setting up, and operating production equipment including the ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical equipment failures. - Ability to fabricate using MIG welder, TIG welder, vertical/horizontal band saws, bridge port mill and lathe - Updating and completing preventative and non-preventative work orders. - Perform fabrication of parts/equipment. - Respond to service calls to inspect, diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair machine problems and determine proper corrective action. - Troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) - knowledge of Allen Bradley preferred - Maintain parts inventory for common replaceable items and daily recordkeeping within JAC Products computer maintenance management software (CMMS) What you need as a Maintenance Technician: - Preferred education requirement: 4 year technical degree, Journey Worker Certification, or 9 years of...
