Description Job Summary: - Perform various mechanical tasks in an industrial setting, including valve replacements, flanged piping assembly, hydro testing, and rigging - Safety-oriented and able to work on elevated structures or scaffolding Duties and responsibilities: - Replace various types of valves and assemble flanged piping spools per Isometric drawings - Understand and differentiate between all types of gaskets required to complete systems - Perform hydro testing and use lock-out/tag-out procedures - Complete rigging training provided by PMI - Work on elevated structures or scaffolding - Use a variety of hand tools to efficiently complete daily tasks Requirements: Essential qualifications: - High school diploma or GED - Minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial maintenance or related field - Ability to pass a hair follicle drug test - TWIC card holder - Proficiency in using combination wrenches (7/8" to 2"), adjustable wrenches, banana wedges, channel locks, hammers, sleeve bars, and any other necessary hand tools - Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations Working conditions: - Work primarily in an industrial setting, such as chemical plants - May be required to w...
