Compensation: Contracted weekly rate $640-$720: About the Job: Support counselors are additional support for campers with disabilities. All Support Counselors will be assigned to campers within a group, based by grade (Kindergarten-6th grade). Depending on the level of support each child needs, Support Counselors will help between 1-3 campers You’ll wow us by masterfully performing the following key duties and responsibilities: - Collaborate with the Disability & Inclusion Youth Manager to provide direct, positive, and meaningful supports and accommodations to designated supported campers, including but not limited to sharing visual daily schedules, facilitating timed breaks, and facilitating social interaction - Work with bunk counselors and activity specialists to increase accessible opportunities in activities specific to designated supported campers’ needs? - Communicate daily with the Disability & Inclusion Yout...
