Position Details: - Per Diem Nurse Practitioner role within the Sleep Medicine program. - Provide primary and specialty-focused care including health maintenance, disease prevention, patient education, and counseling. - Perform comprehensive physical exams and obtain/document medical histories. - Assess, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic conditions. - Order and interpret diagnostic tests including labs, imaging, and EKGs. - Prescribe medications and non-pharmacologic therapies within scope of practice. - Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care. - Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the EMR system. - Current Maine RN and Advanced Practice Nurse License required; DEA required.
