Maintenance Supervisor

Job description

- Supervision of direct report’s activities including work rules, attendance, discipline, project workload and training, including any maintenance apprenticeship program; manage the maintenance department spending budget to be at or below planned levels. - Routine Maintenance: supervise periodic and routine machine and facility maintenance to ensure its completion in an accurate, safe and timely manner. Provide technical support to technicians and manufacturing with breakdowns and projects being implemented. - Preventative Maintenance: Schedule and prioritize equipment and facility PM according to production needs and equipment manufacturer’s recommendations; ensure necessary components and parts are purchased as required or directed; manage the preventative and predictive maintenance systems. - Establish and promote a participative team environment. Seek ways to expand communications and employee involvement. - Ensure entire department complies with all safety standards and regulations; participate in accident investigations for equipment related accidents and injuries. - Organize/Maintain all equipment literature, records, software and associated data. - Develop, implement and ma...
