Job description

Job Summary: The Leave and Workers Compensation Administrator will manage FMLA, Short Term Disability, Long-Term Disability and Workers’ Compensation leaves for corporate, distribution center, and retail employees. This includes approving and/or denying leave requests, reviewing medical documentation, tracking time off, coordinating with benefits billing for the collection of insurance premiums, coordinating with payroll to ensure appropriate salary continuation, follow up on physician certifications, monitoring return to work status and general communications with the employees and managers. Also responsible for oversight of outsourced Workers Compensation program. Responsibilities include providing payroll data and working with claims adjusters and Genesco personnel to gather incident and job information. Also responsible for reporting payroll information and coordinating work comp premium payments.
