About the role: Firebolt is building a team of talented developers to work on our distributed query processing engine. As part of our growing team here in Munich, you can have a major impact on Firebolt’s product. We are focused on improving the performance of and extending our vectorized query engine which sits at the heart of our product. Our projects range from building indexes on top of cloud storage, expanding support for semi-structured data, supporting Python UDFs, integration with AI inference engines, improving distributed query processing, all the way to collecting detailed statistics for our cost-based query optimizer.
