Overview POSITION TITLE (Oracle title): SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGUST: WORKING TITLE: Speech-Language Pathologist SCHOOL/DEPARTMENT: Special Education Services: LOCATION: School Site: PAY GRADE: Speech-Language Pathologist and Audiologist Salary Schedule FLSA STATUS: Exempt: ELIGIBILITY FOR EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT: Yes: WORK WEEK SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday (occasional evenings and weekends): POSITION PURPOSE: Serves as a critical member of the school team in supporting the speech/language/communication needs of students. Provides high quality specialized assessment and instruction, implementing Individual Educational Plans (IEP) to students with disabilities in the school setting. Maintains confidentiality and complies with all federal, state, and local laws, regulations, guidelines, and procedures as they relate to the special education program throughout the district. Provides protection against discrimination for individuals with disabilities and general education students as part of the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) process.
