Summary: Recreation Leader II, under the supervision of a Program Coordinator or Recreation Specialist, develops and/or leads various recreational activities. Must be available to work flexible hours and schedules to include weekends and holidays. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Ensures the safety and well-being of campers and program participants - Provides excellent customer service to patrons, renters, and the public (phone and in-person). - Develops, leads, and supervises general recreation programs, activities, and special events. - Opens and closes various facilities and performs attendant duties. - Maintains essential records and prepares reports. - Receives payments and records registration/membership information. - Uses internal system to track patron attendance and program finances. - Performs daily administrative tasks (cleaning, filing, sorting, answering phones, copying). - Conducts pre/post event rental checklists with renters. - Assists with the setup, cleanup, and breakdown of programs, events, and activities. - Serves meals and snacks to program participants as needed - Supervises and enrolls customers in...
