Employment Type: Part time Shift: Description: Per diem - shifts vary JOB TITLE: Magnetic Resonance ( MR) Technologist MISSION STATEMENT: We, St Joseph's Health and Trinity Health, serve together in the spirit of the Gospel as a compassionate and transforming healing presence within our communities. POSITION SUMMARY: Performs MRI procedures. Adheres to MRI safety for patients and staff within MRI zones 1 through 4. Provides patient services using Magnetic diagnostic imaging. EDUCATION AND LICENSES: License to practice Radiologic Technology from NYS Department of Health with a current registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. MR registry is required within two years of employment. EXPERIENCE: Experience preferable, however we will train a new graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist Program. - An injection license is also a requirement. - GE experience is highly recommended. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: May require standing for 1-4 hours or sitting 1-7.5 hours at a time. May require lifting up to 50 pounds.
