You will need to have these skills to Join our Team Description: Must have skills: Avamar, Data Domain, PPDM, Networker Detailed Project Tasks: Resident will be responsible for assisting customer with planning and perform of backup data - re-pointing and operations management of the backup environment. Principle duties include: Environment discovery and assessment: - Review existing Avamar, Networker and Data Domain configuration, policies, schedules, retention setting and protection groups - Document current backup clients, workloads, data domains/Mtrees and replication relationships in place Backup architecture and migration planning: PPDM and Data Domain configuration support - Assist in defining the target backup architecture leveraging PPDM and Data Domain in the new Dell private cloud solution - Map legacy Avamar/Networker backup policies and workflows to PPDM policies and Data Domain targets - Assist with configuration and validation of PDM components required to protect in-scope workloads (e.g. protection policies, schedules, SLAs retention) - Assist with configuration and tuning of Data Domain for use as a backup target (e.g. DD Boost, Mtrees, storage units, logical capaci...
