Director of AI & Automation

Job description

Overview The Director of AI & Automation is a high-impact, hands-on role responsible for identifying, scoping, delivering, and maintaining artificial intelligence and processing automation solutions across the organization. Embedded within the IS&T department and reporting to the VP of IS&T, this individual will serve as the internal expert and primary owner of AI and automation strategy, reducing the organization's reliance on third-party vendors while building durable, scalable capabilities in-house. This person will work closely with the executive team to align technology investments with business priorities, and partner with departmental leaders across all cross-functional groups to identify, implement and maintain high-value automation. They will leverage modern AI platforms, including Claude AI (Anthropic), alongside workflow automation, RPA, and integration tooling to bring solutions from concept to production.
