Department Summary The College of Science at SJSU offers a MS Data Science degree, service learning courses, general education courses and elective courses. More information about the College of Science can be found here: https://www.sjsu.edu/science/ Brief Description of Duties: We invite applications for a pool of part-time lecturers, should an opening arise, to teach our undergraduate courses including Sci 2/Success in Science , Sci 157SL/Community Action/Community Service , and UNVS 101/Leadership and Career Accelerator . The number of positions varies from semester to semester, depending on the needs of the College. The pool will remain in place for three calendar years; those interested in remaining in the pool beyond that time must reapply. We are seeking outstanding lecturers who can teach small to large lecture courses as well as seminars and activity sections. Excellence in teaching is expected. Positions start at the beginning of a semester and appointments may be renewed based on department need, funding, and performance.
