Job DetailsJob Location: Dogs Inc Main Campus - Palmetto, FL 34221The Canine Reproduction Technician schedules all necessary procedures for breeding colony and breeder evaluates. This position performs all technical procedures associated with breeding. Help maintain cryopreservation program. Assists with maintaining records in multiple databases for dogs in all programs. Ensures comfort and wellbeing for each dog during medical and husbandry procedures by utilizing positive reinforcement and low stress handling techniques. Assists with all assessments of Breeder Evaluates. Responsibilities: Executes day-to-day procedures (reproductive, medical, and misc.) on breeding colony with input from Genetics and Reproduction Manager. Communicates with Volunteer Programs when breeders are needed on campus. Informs Genetics and Reproduction Manager of any pertinent health information about breeding colony as discovered. Arranges and oversees breedings, including natural breeding and artificial insemination. Ensures canine safety and comfort during this process.
