Press Brake Machine Operator 1st Shift Metals USA is seeking a Press Brake Machine Operator in Greensboro NC. Metals USA is a solid, growth oriented, carbon-steel (plate, beam, tube) distribution center servicing the defense, commercial, construction, aerospace and fabrication industries. The Brake Press Operator is responsible for operating a Brake Press machine for producing parts and tools from metal using a brake press, a computer numeric controlled (CNC) piece of equipment that makes precision bends, punches or cuts into material. Essential Functions: - Plans machining by studying & understanding work orders, blue prints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, drawings, reference planes, locations on surfaces, and machining parameters, interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T). - Prepares and operates Brake Press machine with the proper program, tools and material for specified part. - Prepares and loads raw materials and parts onto the machines. - Checks height, depth and thickness using micrometers, dial indicators, calipers, gauges and other precision-measuring instruments. - Monitors the machines as they execute the tasks and makes any necessary adjust...
