Job DetailsJob Location: Statesville Family YMCA - Statesville, NC 28677Position Type: Part TimeSalary Range: $12.00 - $14.00 HourlyJob Shift: VariableUnder the direction of the Group Exercise Director/Healthy Living Director, the Pilates or Barre Instructor is responsible for leading safe, effective, and engaging classes that support the YMCA’s mission of strengthening community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. The instructor creates a welcoming, inclusive environment for participants of all fitness levels while delivering high-quality programming. Essential Functions: Plan and lead dynamic Pilates and/or Barre classes in alignment with YMCA standards and best practices. Provide clear instruction, demonstration, and safe modifications for all fitness levels. Ensure participant safety by monitoring form, offering corrections, and responding appropriately to injuries or emergencies. Arrive prepared and on time; set up and return equipment to designated areas. Build positive relationships with members and foster a supportive class environment.
