Day Shift Engineer Location: City of London: Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off – Days Only Type: Full-Time | Permanent: BGIS is recruiting for a Day Shift Engineer to join our team on a prestigious critical site in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all environmental and building conditions are consistently maintained across critical mechanical and electrical systems. This role involves delivering planned and reactive maintenance, monitoring critical infrastructure, overseeing subcontractors, and supporting the safe and efficient operation of all site plant and equipment. Key Duties & Responsibilities: - Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across all mechanical and electrical plant in line with site schedules and asset registers - Respond to reactive maintenance tasks and breakdowns across building systems and fabric-related issues - Monitor and maintain BMS-controlled systems to ensure optimal environmental conditions - Diagnose faults across HVAC, UPS, generators, LV systems and associated plant - Supervise subcontractors and ensure all works are completed safely and in line with site procedures - Operate Permit to Work and LOTO systems in acco...
