Job description

Overview Lovelace Biomedical Research Institute (LBRI) is seeking a Research Technologist with a background in bioanalytical chemistry. The position will support bioanalytical method development, qualification, validation and application of bioanalytical assays within the Scientific Core Laboratories. The position will involve working in multi-disciplinary scientific teams to develop/characterize formulations and develop/qualify/validate/apply bioanalytical chemistry methods for sample analysis. Working in the laboratory to process and analyze samples using Ultra Performance Liquid Chromatography (UPLC), High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), Gas Chromatography (GC) and mass spectroscopy (MS). Qualifications: Requires a bachelor’s degree in a scientific area or with comparable course work and 0-3 years of experience in the area of analytical assay development or validation using LC-MS/MS instrumentation; or an equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been attained.
