The Department of Counselor Education at Boise State University invites applications for an Clinical Assistant Professor of Counselor Education with preference for a focus on addiction, school, or clinical mental health counseling. The position will be starting in the fall semester of 2026. The faculty member will (a) teach a variety of counseling courses, including clinical courses such as practicum and/or internship; b) mentor and advise MA students; (c) provide coordination to the practicum clinic; and (d) participate in service activities at the University, College, and Department level, as well as engage in community and professional service activities. This is a clinical, teaching-focused faculty position with primary responsibilities in graduate instruction, clinical supervision, and program coordination.
