Distribution Supervisor II

Job description

Position Profile: The Supervisor II, Distribution is responsible for one or more functional operations, including Preflight and/or Equipment and Supplies and one or more channels within the Distribution Centre (DC). The position is responsible for planning and executing the daily activities associated with assigned functional areas within the DC. The position will manage assigned processes and people assigned to their span of control, establish performance standards, and monitor performance of assigned employees. The Supervisor II, Distribution is responsible for the implementation of strategic plans improving operations in the areas of cost, quality and service. The position is also responsible for People Management activities, including but not limited to: hiring, coaching, performance management, development, corrective action and termination.
