Department: Division 2 County or State Funded: State: Exempt or Non-Exempt: Exempt: Paygrade: S-95: Salary Pay Rate: $72,515.50 Annual: Basic Function and Responsibility: - Highly responsible work in verbatim reporting of judicial proceedings at high rates of speed and preparing verbatim transcripts as required. - Must prepare a complete and accurate report of proceedings and maintain electronic backup storage of such proceedings. - Must keep all exhibits in possession until otherwise requested by the court, includes other administrative duties as assigned by the judge or designee. - All work performed in accordance with procedures established by the district judges and clerk of court and is reviewed upon completion for accuracy and content. Appointing Authority and Supervision Received: The judge assigned to the division is the appointing authority. Court Reporters serve at the pleasure of the judge. Supervision Exercised : None.
