Job description

This role is responsible for engaging in the assessment and underwriting of new REG-Managed Investment CRE loans (non-owner occupied CRE loans ) in accordance with established underwriting policies, practices and standards. Key highlights of the role will include the following Partner with UMB relationship managers and bankers to perform credit underwriting duties for existing/prospective client relationships, which may include but are not limited to the following: 1) perform detailed credit analysis to determine borrower/guarantor repayment capacity, 2) appropriate loan structuring recommendations, and 3) complete all of or portions of the credit packages (as agreed with the relationship manager/banker) for submission to appropriate approval authority (new business and renewals); Preparation of underwriting documents will also include collateral analysis on multiple asset classes and preparation of pricing and risk rating models suitable for each credit request; Present loan submissions to the appropriate approval authority on behalf of relationship managers/bankers and answer questions relative to the review and approval of the loan (as requested); Review appraisal upon receipt t...
