Department: 36303 Advocate Christ Medical Center - Radiology Status: Full time Benefits Eligible: Yes Hou rs Per Week: 32 Schedule Details/Additional Information: Full time benefits, 32-hours per week, 2nd shift position. Typical hours 3pm-1130pm. Alternating weekends, 2 holiday shifts per year, and limited on-call hours. Pay Range: $28.55 - $42.85 Major Responsibilities: - Determines appropriate radiographic technique and positions patients using immobilization and support devices to ensure optimum film quality. - 1)Positions patient and adjust equipment, immobilization and support devises as necessary, using tact and courtesy at all times. - 2)Determines appropriate radiographic technique based on anatomy. - 3)Secures history from patient regarding reason for prescribed test, and records on appropriate form for Radiologists information. - Operation of radiographic, fluoroscopic, portable, computed radiography and PACS equipment to ensure quality examinations. - 1)Operates portable radiographic equipment in patient's room or surgery as required. - 2)Operates all components including all locking devises on radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment. - 3)Loads imaging cassettes where i...
