Job Title: Senior Paralegal - Voting (VOT) Section Job Category: Service Contract Act: Time Type: Full time: Minimum Clearance Required to Start: DOJ MBI Employee Type: Regular: Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 25% Type of Travel: Local: - * * The Opportunity: CACI is seeking a Senior Paralegal to support the Voting (VOT) Section of the Civil Rights Division at the Department of Justice (DOJ). The Voting Section enforces the civil provisions of federal laws that protect the right to vote, including the Voting Rights Act, the Uniformed and Overseas Citizens Absentee Voting Act, the National Voter Registration Act, the Help America Vote Act, and the Civil Rights Acts. This is not a remote position; on-site presence in Washington, DC is required five days per week. Travel within the continental United States may be required to support case activities Responsibilities: Works under the direction of a Supervisory Paralegal or Project Supervisor. Work products are reviewed prior to submission; however, the incumbent will often develop these products with minimal direct supervision beyond written guidelines.
