Work Center Lead Traffic - 1st Shift Location: Janesville, WI: What a Day in Your Life Looks Like: - Driving assorted vehicles safely and responsibly. - Keep chassis prep full and park released units - Doing any number of tasks that are required of the crew including installing mud flaps, installing window stickers, making key tags, signing for vehicles, filling out chassis check in sheets and measuring front of body and wheelbase and keeping busy with pertinent work. - After training be fable to prioritize workload and requests. Specific Job Functions: PRODUCTIVITY - Effective use and coordination of resources to accomplish specific goals and outputs while maintaining quality and customer satisfaction. - Control and reduce truck hours. - Effective and efficient utilization of people and other resources (overtime, equipment, material, etc.) - Efficiently and effectively plan and execute daily work. - Coordinate activities with other departments of the plant. - Achieve truck delivery goals; daily delivery, monthly delivery, and on time delivery. - Monitor and control inventory levels to ensure appropriate availability and work in process levels.
