Co-Op Summer Enrichment is an award winning summer camp for low income children that delivers STEM learning and camp fun. What you'll be doing: You’re joining a summer camp team where roles and tasks are collaborative and shared. As a STEAM Educator you’ll be responsible for creating art project based youth education experiences continuing the high quality STEM education that earned us the Excellence in Summer Learning Award from the National Summer Learning Institute. RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES: The duties for this role include, but are not limited to: - Lead our Design Lab program block (approximately 1.5 hours), a fast paced art and design environment, for multiple groups per day rotating on a weekly basis - Design and implement art project-based program blocks that promote learning through interdisciplinary thematic inquiry supporting chosen STEAM themes identified by the leadership team for this camp season - Collaborate with the Leadership Team to identify project themes - Adapt materials and projects to meet the needs of different age groups for rising grades 1 through 5 - Provide curriculum spe...
