Solar General Manager

Job description

The solar general manager is responsible and accountable for direct oversight and management of BHE Renewables’ solar energy projects through the entire project lifecycle. Located at the project job site in Rosamond California, the solar general manager is responsible for the safe, cost effective and timely execution of project development, construction, commissioning and operations of over 600Mw of solar and BESS generating assets. Ensures the safe, environmentally compliant, and cost-effective project development, construction, commissioning, and operation and maintenance of the solar generating plant Develop and direct programs designed to improve solar generating plant’s performance in the areas of safety, efficiency, reliability, and environmental compliance. (60%) Ensures compliance with all environmental laws, policies and regulations governing work at the jobsite and on the project. Directly responsible for ensuring contractors performing construction work on site comply with all environmental and land use permit conditions.
