Description Summary: Under the supervision of the Youth Services Supervisor, the Summer Junior Counselor is responsible for supporting the implementation of the Ibero Uplift Summer Program, a youth development initiative designed to provide safe, enriching, and engaging out-of-school time experiences. This position is designed for teens interested in gaining work experience in youth development, leadership, and community engagement. The program emphasizes social-emotional learning, literacy enrichment, mentorship, service learning, and experiential education. The Junior Counselor assists in maintaining a structured, supportive environment where participants feel safe, respected, and empowered. Responsibilities include supporting supervision, assisting with program activities, and actively engaging with youth participants. This is a temporary summer position and will conclude on or before August 8th at the end of the program.
