About the role We have a unique opportunity for a Legal Counsel to join an experienced, well-established team based in Newcastle (preferred) or Sydney. You will support the Deputy General Counsel InfraBuild Australia and work closely with the broader legal team and business, gaining valuable in-house experience in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities: - Provide legal support in areas such as supply contracts, sales contracts, general contracting, capital projects, disputes, regulatory and environmental issues, corporate issues, legal compliance, policy development, training, and monitoring - Assist in identifying and mitigating legal and commercial risks - Report material issues related to legal risks, compliance, and corporate governance to the General Counsel and Deputy General Counsel - Participate in team meetings and initiatives, providing resourcing support as needed - Engage with other functional teams, including Treasury, Finance, Tax, Environment, Safety, and Insurance - Conduct legal research on emerging compliance issues or legislative changes Our Ideal Candidate will have: - At least 2 to 3 years of post-qualification experience in commercial or corporate law. - Admi...
