Title: Audiologist SDB00187 State Role Title: Therapist III: Hiring Range: Commensurate with experience: Pay Band: 5: Agency: VA School for the Deaf & Blind Location: VA School for Deaf & Blind Agency Website: vsdb.k12.va.us: Recruitment Type: General Public - G Job Duties: The Virginia School for the Deaf and the Blind is seeking an Audiologist to provide comprehensive audiological services for students who have sensory impairments or related concerns, as well as diagnostic and consultative assessments for children with similar needs referred by local education and early intervention agencies and local healthcare providers; to provide supervision and consultation for Speech Language Pathologists as well as Parent Infant-Outreach Services and to work collaboratively as a resource for early intervention agencies, health care providers, and school systems serving children who are Deaf or hard-of-hearing, blind or low vision, deafblind and sensory impaired with multiple disabilities.
