Job description

The Principal HR Consultant (PHRC) is responsible for serving as a strategic consultant/subject matter expert to Area CHROs and Caregiver Relations Consultants who face complex employee relations matters where expert knowledge and assistance is needed. They are responsible for identifying and assessing situations for compliance and policy concerns and making recommendations for resolution. In addition, the SHRC supports Labor and Employment Counsel in the investigation of legal matters, recommending and promoting consistent and best practice approaches to positive employee and labor relations, adherence to HR policies, compliance with regulatory and policy requirements and standards, investigations, review and oversight on Reductions in Force and project work. Additional areas of accountability include oversight on Caregiver Relations work product, mentorship of Caregiver Relations consultants, employee relations research, performance management consultations, identifying trends and patterns and need for critical intervention, labor relations research, dispute alternatives and policy development, effective record keeping, and data integrity.
