Description The Division of Cardiology, Department of Medicine, University of Washington School of Medicine and UW Heart Institute are recruiting two full-time (100% FTE) Assistant, Associate, or full Professor, WOT (without tenure by reason of funding), heart failure cardiologists to join the Advanced Heart Failure, Cardiac Transplant, and Mechanical Circulatory Support services at the University of Washington Medical Center. Assistant Professors WOT are eligible for multi-year appointments that align with a 12-month service period (July 1-June 30). Associate and Professor WOT hold indefinite appointments that align with a 12-month service period (July 1-June 30). Faculty with 12-month service periods are paid for 11 months of service over a 12-month period (July-June), meaning the equivalent of one month is available for paid time off. Specific rank will be commensurate with experience and qualifications as generally described in UW’s Faculty Code Section 24-34 . The anticipated start date is August 1, 2025.
