Regional Engineering Manager (Sustainability)

Job description

We are looking for a highly capable Engineering Manager to join our team at the GSK UK R&D hub at Stevenage (Hertfordshire, UK). The purpose of this role is to act as the technical authority for Environmental Engineering and to provide relevant engineering support to the R&D sites in Europe (Stevenage, Harlow and Addenbrookes (UK), Berlin and Heidelberg (Germany) Tres Cantos (Spain), and Siena (Italy) to provide governance and solutions across our Climate and Nature targets; Carbon, water, biodiversity, waste, and circularity. You will lead regional engineering activities utilizing matrix management skills to deliver strategic programmes in operational energy reduction alongside capital project execution, ensuring sustainability by design at all stages of the journey. The role exists to deliver professional engineering expertise as a single point of leadership, providing sound technical direction through strategic intervention and progressive facilities Investment planning.
