Job description

Job Purpose: The manager is responsible for oversight of instructional technology and media services operations at all college campuses. This is a non-exempt position and is primarily located at the Columbia Campus. The incumbent will travel to other Columbia State campuses as needed. Essential Functions: - Oversee operations and maintenance of desktop video conferencing equipment and software to ensure consistent functionality and user satisfaction. - Evaluate instructional presentation equipment periodically and recommend optimal configurations and upgrades to meet evolving instructional needs. - Plan and procure equipment, materials, and services to support ongoing improvements in media services. - Participate in regular training activities to maintain current knowledge and skills in media technologies and instructional support. - Prepare budget requests and manage expenditures to ensure operations remain within annual budget guidelines. - Maintain accurate records and prepare reports as needed. - Maintain an accurate inventory of all instructional presentation media equipment and supplies. - Update and manage content on the media services website to ensure information remains c...
