Full Time: Days: $10,000 Sign On Bonus Day Shift: No Weekends: #ALDIND Job Summary: Under direct supervision of a registered nurse, performs the duties of a primary or secondary surgical technologist in surgical procedures. Minimum Education: Graduate of a Surgical Technology Program accredited by Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) or Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Educational Programs (CAAHEP) or by the State. Licensure, Registration and/or Certification: Certified through the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT). CPR certification. Work Experience: Certified Surgical Tech (CST) level I for 2 years or more and ability to meet additional criteria as required by CST clinical ladder. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Advanced knowledge of aseptic technique. Advanced knowledge of surgical instrumentation and ability to prepare instrumentation set based on specialties.
