Aviation Technology Associates (AVTECH Global) is looking for an Avionics Installer. Pay Rate: $25.66 to $33.81 per hour (depending on experience, location, etc.) Job Type: Full-time, Contract: Contract Duration: 12 months (w/opportunity for extension) Benefits: Experience/Education: - coverage of up to one-half of employee's medical insurance premium for a base plan - eight (8) paid holidays - per diem split (if qualified) - three (3) sets of uniforms (if applicable) - opportunity to become a direct hire after ninety (90) days - High School diploma/GED. - Experience ranges from entry level to two (2) years of accredited schooling in aviation electronics and two (2) years related work experience; or four (4) years of experience in an avionics/electronic career field. - Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and schematic diagrams. Purpose: Leads, supports, or assists in the removal/installation of avionics electrical components, fabrication of wire harnesses, installations, terminations, ring-out, and functional tests of avionics/electrical systems. - Valid driver's license may be required. - Participation in a DOT/FAA drug and alcohol program may be required.
