Job Title: Child Care Attendant Department: Fitness: Reports to: Youth Program Director: Job Type: Non-Exempt: Job Summary: : The Pre-School Teacher / Child Care Attendant is responsible for providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for our pre-school children who will be our attending pre-school program. The Pre-School teacher with staff plan and implements activities, supervises play, ensures children's safety, and promotes positive social interactions in accordance with facility guidelines. Key Responsibilities: Supervision & Safety - Actively monitor and care for children who are participants in the 2's ,3's or 4's pre-school program. - Maintain a clean, secure, and child-friendly environment. - Follow all safety protocols and emergency procedures. Engagement & Interaction: - Plan, Organize and implement age-appropriate activities such as learning activities, games, arts and crafts, story time, and free play. - Promote a positive and respectful atmosphere among children. - Provide comfort and basic care for children as needed depending on the camp age group (e.g., feeding, diapering, conflict resolution).
