LaBella is currently seeking an Environmental Restoration Technician for our Environmental Division in our Buffalo office. Starting compensation for this hourly, non-exempt position is $18-$20 per hour with potential overtime opportunities during peak seasonal times. As part of our Ecological Construction and Restoration Program you will be part of a growing team providing invasive species management, habitat rehabilitation and wetland and stream restoration services for private and public sector clients. Duties: - Invasive species identification and control through herbicide application and/or physical removal - Native seeding - Native plantings - Installation of erosion and sediment control features, and riverbank and riparian restoration. - Based on applicant’s experience the performance of these tasks may include operation of tools and equipment such as chain saws, brush saws, herbicide sprayers, trucks and trailers, and skid loaders.
