Assistant Branch Manager

Job description

Responsible for assisting Branch Manager in sales and sales management, customer service levels, and day-to-day operations of facility(s), and assumes responsibility for the branch in the Manager's absence. Maintains knowledge of the bank's sales, service and operations. Acts as a teller, customer service representative, and supervises operations and sales, while providing Legendary Service to customers and employees. Serves as lead for staff by providing a positive example and attitude. Promotes bank's products and services to current and potential customers while providing education and leadership to staff. Ensures customer services are provided, opening accounts, providing customers with information, and resolving banking concerns. Acts as a resource to staff for operational and customer issue exercising discretion and good judgment. Responsible for daily contact with direct report employees and employees in other departments, with two-way communication between all departments ensuring an efficient and productive work place.
