Come to The Bradenton Herald to intern and you'll be in paradise. You'll hold politicians accountable, answer the latest health questions for your readers, and make a video of a place no one else can go to. You'll break the news and explain the issues. Our summer news internships are 10-week, paid positions on-site that provide weekly skills training sessions and networking opportunities. As a news intern, you can expect to: Interns don't need world-shaking events to play a major role at the Herald. There's plenty of news to go around. Previous experience reporting and/or producing for a student or professional news publication is a plus. This internship program involves on-site work, so interns should be prepared to live near the location of their respective newsrooms.
