Job Summary: The Terminal Operator is responsible for the safe, efficient, and compliant handling of liquid and solid materials at an industrial terminal facility. This includes operating pumps, valves, and processing equipment to move, treat, and store materials. The role also covers key tasks such as handling filter drums, performing solid bulking, managing hazardous waste in 10-day accumulation areas, and processing the cooker to remove water from materials. Operators are expected to follow strict environmental, health, and safety protocols. Key Responsibilities: Product & Material Handling: - Load and unload bulk liquids and solids from railcars, tank trucks, and storage tanks. - Operate pumps, meters, valves, and other equipment to safely transfer materials. - Process the cooker to remove water from materials by monitoring temperature, flow rates, and moisture content—ensuring proper separation and disposal of water phase. - Transfer materials between tanks and containers while ensuring proper blending and compatibility.
