Production Planner - 6 Month Contract

Job Description We’re looking for a proactive Production Planner to join us on a 6 moth contract to lead the downstream supply chain, ensuring operational excellence and a seamless customer experience from order to delivery. What you’ll do: - Create and manage detailed production schedules that align customer demand with operational efficiency - Raise work orders and manage MRP messages to deliver a streamlined production flow - Monitor schedule adherence, lead times, and COTD performance to drive continuous improvement - Own product master data and lifecycle phases in ERP, ensuring portfolio efficiency and cost control - Coordinate recovery plans for overdue orders and communicate resolution strategies - Reconcile the sales order book to ensure alignment across inventory, revenue, and customer expectations - Collaborate cross-functionally to build master production plans that optimize resources and shift patterns - Manage finished goods inventory policies and engineering change requests - Report on key supply chain metrics including OTD, inventory health, and cost drivers - Champion lean principles and deploy planning methodologies like infinite planning, flex planning, and MPS -...
