Job description

The Jr. Clinical Research Assistant is part of an integral and collaborative research team located at the Neuroscience Research Center at the Neuroscience Center and/or Struthers Parkinsons Center. The Center oversees all research activities within Neuroscience Research at the Neuroscience Research Center, Struthers Parkinsons Center, Regions Hospital, and Methodist Hospital. We are looking for a motivated energetic individual who approaches work from a patient centered perspective and has passion around finding new treatments for disease affecting the brain and spine. This position will: Work schedule: FTE: .5 (20 hrs. weekly), May-August - Conduct clinical research to improve the treatment and prevention of conditions of the brain and spine in areas including but not limited to neurosurgery, Alzheimer’s disease, stroke and Parkinson’s disease. - Development and implementation of research applications and protocols that may include abstraction of patient electronic medical records, data entry and processing, cognitive assessments and general support of research activities.
