DTU Sustain seeks a candidate with a strong research profile in Indoor Environmental Quality (IEQ), human well‑being, and health‑promoting indoor environments. The position focuses on how buildings can support diverse populations, including vulnerable and sensitive groups, under increasing climate variability and extreme weather events. You will contribute to evidence‑based strategies that strengthen resilience, protect and improve health, and enhance the lived experience of occupants. The Section for Indoor Environment conducts research to define criteria and develop methods ensuring healthy and comfortable indoor environment at the lowest possible environmental impact. Within this framework, the position emphasizes human‑centred and adaptive indoor environments, multisensory comfort, and the interaction between environmental conditions and physiological/psychological responses. You will contribute to resilient indoor‑environment innovations that combine sensory‑variable design concepts, personalised solutions, and psychological mechanisms of comfort and well‑being, supported by theoretical and empirical research.
