Description THIS IS A SUBCONTRACT OPPORTUNITY: The Ottumwa Job Corps is a residential, federally funded training program with the capacity to accommodate 237 enrollees aged 16-24, is at this time requesting proposals for an on-site, Licensed Center Mental Health Consultants for a total of 26 hours per week. The Ottumwa Center is operated by Career Systems Development Corporation under contract with the U.S. Department of Labor and is located in Ottumwa, Iowa. The general emphasis of the Mental-Health and Wellness Program must be on the early identification and diagnosis of mental-health problems, basic mental-health care, and mental-health promotion, prevention, and education designed to help students overcome barriers to employability. The program uses an employee assistance program approach that includes short-term counseling with an employability focus, referral to center support groups, and crisis intervention.
