Progressive Care Unit (PCU): Unit Population: Cardiac and Pulmonary patients (ventilator experience required) Schedule Requirements: Every other weekend Holidays as needed per unit: Float as needed to PCU, IMC, or Med-Surg Nurse-to-Patient Ratios: PCU: 1:4 IMC: 1:3 (ventilator experience required): Med-Surg: 1:5: Responsibilities: Facilitates and coordinates programs involving hospital inpatients, outpatients, families, community members, and employees of both the hospital and university. Care is delivered using evidence-based practices aligned with Johns Hopkins Hospital policies, procedures, and protocols.
