Pre-employment physical exam required. Valid driver's license required and must be insurable by the University's insurance carrier. Grade 4 (Hourly) Position Description: The General Maintenance Technician II, Controls Apprentice reports to the Senior Director for Physical Plant Maintenance (MEP Systems) and supports the Controls Shop by assisting with building automation systems (BAS), HVAC controls, and related electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems within assigned facilities. This position is an apprenticeship role that provides structured, on-the-job training under the guidance of experienced controls technicians and requires participation in and successful completion of assigned training modules.
