Title: Adjunct Instructor- Health Sciences Continuing Education (Pool) Institution: Volunteer State Community College: Job Summary: This position is responsible for delivering quality instruction for non-credit courses using integrative technologies. The adjunct instructor works under the supervision of the Director of Center of Emphasis, Health Sciences Continuing Education. The adjunct instructor is responsible for the effective communication of course related information to students using various and participative instructional strategies. Provides quality delivery of assigned coursework and laboratory activities. Job Duties: Teach courses via on ground, online, hybrid or web-enhanced modalities, as assigned. Teach day, evening, weekend, off-campus, distance-based courses, as required. Comply with course syllabus content and outcomes and update department syllabus, as necessary, at least 2 weeks prior to the first day of class or within seven days of the execution of contract. Regularly check VSCC email and departmental mailbox. Respond to emails/messages within 48 hours except on the weekend.
