About Us The Assistant Director - Physician Assistant (PA) for Occupational Health Services provides leadership, clinical oversight, and strategic direction for the department. This role combines advanced clinical responsibilities with administrative and operational management to ensure high-quality care, compliance, and efficiency across all occupational health programs for employees and learners. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: Clinical Responsibilities: - Provide direct patient care for occupational health cases, including evaluations, treatment, and follow-up. - Collaborate with Infection Prevention, Risk Management, and HR on health initiatives and case management. - Conduct pre-placement, return-to-work, fitness-for-duty, and periodic occupational health evaluations for employees, students, residents, and fellows - Provide clinical assessment and management of occupational exposures (e.g., bloodborne pathogens, respiratory pathogens, laboratory and chemical exposures) - Order diagnostic tests, and develop treatment plans within scope of practice and institutional guidelines - Provide immunization services and vaccine counseling in accordance with Einstein, Montefiore, and public h...
